GTA VI Is PS5 and Xbox Only at Launch — PC Players Left Waiting Again
July 3, 2026 · Sniper
No PC, no PS4, no Switch: GTA VI is launching exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Leaving PC players at the back of the line feels like a mistake — no matter how much of a 'Rockstar tradition' it may be.

Rockstar has confirmed it: GTA VI is coming November 19, exclusively to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PS4 or Xbox One — fair enough, those are two generations behind — but there's no confirmed PC version either, and no sign of Nintendo Switch.
The PC situation is what stings the most, and we won't sugarcoat it: we think it's the wrong call. The PC audience is massive — Steam, the modding community that kept GTA V alive for over a decade — and Rockstar is once again leaving them at the back of the line. It happened with GTA V too, which took nearly two years to reach PC. Pulling the same move means abandoning a huge community that, on top of everything, is the one that gives the game its longest legs through roleplay servers and mods.
We understand the business logic: console exclusivity at launch, driving PS5 and Series sales, and a more controlled rollout to curb leaks. But from a PC player's perspective, the feeling is the same as always — pay the same or more, and wait longer. A PC version will come eventually — that revenue is too significant to walk away from — but having to wait again is bad news for half the community.
